Introduction about TNAI and HEE
TNAI: TNAI is the largest and one of the oldest professional associations of nurses in the world with nearly 320000 members including all categories of nurses, covering from students, practitioners, educators, researchers, and administrators in both state-run and private institutions and 120000 student nurses as members. TNAI is registered under Societies Act XXI of 1860 in 1917 and recognised as a welfare association by the Government of India since 1950. The Headquarters of TNAIis situated at New Delhi. India.
TNAI has 33 full-fledged state branches with 05 regions across the country.
HEE: Health Education England (HEE) is the strategic workforce body of the NHS. We ensure that NHS staff have the education, training and professional development they need to deliver a 21st-century healthcare system.
Role of HEE in National Health Service (NHS)
1) Ensure the future health workforce is in the right numbers, with the right skills to deliver excellent care
2) Develop and transform the current workforce to respond to new technologies and demands
3) Assure the quality of the learning environment and support the safety and wellbeing of patients

Global Learners Programme
- The UK Government accredited international nurse recruitment programme
- Piloted in 2017, the programme was launched in 2018 with 500 nurses offered a job opportunity with an NHS Trust
- Aim this is year is to recruit 1500 nurses to the programme
- An exciting educational opportunity for nurses to work in the NHS
- Opportunity to enhance and add to existing skills whilst working in the NHS; gaining new skills, knowledge and experience

Salary and benefits information
- Starting salary £18,813 rising to £24,214 upon receipt of NMC PIN Number (before tax & pension)
- 37.5 hours per week contract of employment, opportunity to work extra hours may be possible ***
- 27 days paid annual leave – plus 8 statutory public holidays
